Situated at approximately 720 meters above sea level, the picturesque village of Fužine is surrounded by dense forests and nestled near several lakes. The scenic and well-known Bajer Lake (about 3,8 km away) invites visitors to enjoy leisurely walks, cycling, and boat trips, and in the summer, even swimming. Also worth a visit is the mysterious Vrelo Cave (approximately 6,2 km away), a fascinating underground marvel adorned with striking rock formations and subterranean watercourses. With its crisp mountain air and proximity to the Adriatic coast (about a 30-minute drive away), Fužine is an ideal destination for nature lovers, relaxation seekers, and adventure enthusiasts alike. The outdoors is what the area of Gorski Kotar is known for, and there are plenty of opportunities for outdoor fun, such as hiking, cycling and exploring the amazing untouched nature. This cozy and detached mountain house is situated on a 500 m² plot and offers its guests an indoor pool (5 x 4 m), a sauna and an outdoor barbecue – ideal for unwinding in complete serenity. The nearest shopping facility is approximately 500 meters away, while a restaurant can be found about 1,5 km from the property.
House for 6 persons: approx. 250 m², comprising a basement, ground floor and first floor. The basement comprises an indoor pool, a sauna and a bathroom with a shower. On the ground floor, guests will find a fully equipped kitchen with an adjoining living area, complete with a comfortable couch and a fireplace. From here, there is access to an enclosed terrace with panoramic windows and direct entry to the garden. This floor also includes a bathroom with a shower. The first floor comprises two bedrooms, each furnished with a double bed, and one bathroom equipped with a bathtub. Additionally, a separate anteroom features a pull-out sofa bed (160 x 200 cm) with a TV, providing additional sleeping space for two guests.

Dogs: Please note that dogs must be registered at the time of booking, stating the breed. The cost is 10 euro per dog per day, and the fee has to be paid directly to the landlord. Number of dogs allowed: 1.

Gorski Kotar - Kvarner Region
In the hinterland of the Kvarner area, a wonderful mountain scenery is awaiting you. High peaks and green forests, interwoven with clear rivers, streams, waterfalls and lakes make this place ideal for all of you, who love to spend their vacation in a peaceful surrounding with untouched nature. This green heart of the Kvarner region is called „Gorski Kotar“. For nature lovers as well as for the active ones, Gorski Kotar offers plenty of possibilities. Marked trails provide the ideal conditions for long walks, hikes and bike tours. Also canoeing on the Kupa river and rafting on the Dobra river are popular activities. One of the most important settlements of Gorski Kotar is Crni Lug ("Black Forest"). This village is situated in the western part of the area and is considered the gateway to the National Park Risnjak. The name of the mountain comes from "ris" - the lynx, which still today can be found here.The countless beaches of the Kvarner Bay can be reached easily by car. If you wish to combine an active vacation in the mountains with relaxing and sunbathing on the beach, then Gorski Kotar should be the right choice for you. We recommend a combination of a one week stay on the coast and a week in one of our chalets.
