The prime location is perfect for visitors eager to explore Split's rich history, iconic landmarks, and cultural heritage, as well for those who like to end the day on the beach. Beyond its historical and cultural attractions, Split offers a vibrant array of restaurants, bars, cafés, and vibrant nightlife.

Location

Split - Central Dalmatia

The history of Split started in 1700, when the Roman Emperor Diocletian built his palace. Split is the second largest city in Croatia and the capital of Dalmatia. The city was built around the palace of Diocletian; today the historic town is protected by the UNESCO. The old town with its tiny boutiques, coffee bars, market and pedestrian zone is certainly worth a visit. Split has a daily flight connection to many different cities in Europe. Furthermore you can easily reach the islands of Brac, Hvar, Korcula, Vis and Lastovo by ferries which depart in the port of Split.
