MS Kruna Mora / Route Z2
Port of Zadar - Northern Dalmatia
Description
For many years, Captain Damir Kordić stood together with his younger brother Joško at the helm of the boat MS Vila and sailed their guests through the enchanting island world of the Kvarner Bay. Then, he decided to buy a bigger boat and thus, the big search began. In Greece he finally found what he was looking for – the Kruna Mora (the ”Sea Crown” in English) which is, with the length of nearly 44 metres, the largest classic-style wooden vessel in our fleet. After several years of crossing the waters of southern Dalmatia and Montenegro with his Kruna Mora and showing his guests the Kvarner Bay for two summers from Rijeka, Damir has been sailing from Zadar through the island world of northern and central Dalmatia since the 2017 season.

Location
Port of Zadar - Northern Dalmatia
The inhabitants of Zadar proudly call their city: “Najlipši grad na svitu” (“The most beautiful city in the world”). The former capital of Dalmatia is situated on a peninsula bordered by two “Rivas”. The side facing the mainland is simply called “Riva” – here ferries and passenger ships anchor and fishermen bring their catch ashore every morning. On the other side, facing the island, lays the “New Riva” – the perfect setting to stroll along the waterfront, where lovers meet for their rendezvous; since a few years, it is the only place in the world, where you can listen to the unique melodies of the Sea Organs. Embedded between the Rivas, you will discover one of the most beautiful old towns in Dalmatia. The traffic-free main street (called “Kalelarga”), with its boutiques and cafes, is the lifeline of the city. On both sides of the street, you will find picturesque alleys in which the “Klapa” intone their songs of sheer joy. Magnificent historical buildings, such as the circular church of St. Donat, the Cathedral of Sveta Stošija, the Roman Forum and many other fascinating places are waiting to be discovered!Sojourn tax and harbour fees are not included in the prices and are payable in cash on board upon embarkation. These are € 49 per person and week, € 24 for children up to 12 years.
Tip recommendation: You will certainly be happy to reward the service crew’s performance with a tip. We recommend an amount from € 70 per cabin and week.
