MS Albatros / Route R1
Port of Rijeka - Kvarner Region
Description
Captain Alan from the island of Rab is part of the long-lasting sailor tradition this place is known for. He was born and raised in the lovely town Supetarska Draga, which is at the same time home port to four vessels of our fleet. For Alan, “satisfied guests” are not simply words, but result of a long tradition of hospitality and pride. The previous three cabins with bunk beds on the upper deck were converted into two cabins with separate beds for the 2016 season and the saloon was completely redesigned for the 2017 season. In our opinion, it is now one of the most beautiful saloons of the wooden boats. A special touch – between the tables are retractable sockets with 220-volt outlets and USB connectors so that you can always conveniently charge your smartphone. In winter 2017/2018, Alan has renovated the cabins and bathrooms in the lower deck, so that a completely “made-over” Albatros has been taken to sea, and has truly earned her promotion to the premium category.

Location
Port of Rijeka - Kvarner Region
Rijeka is the third largest city in Croatia and the largest and most important seaport of the country. Rijeka is just a few hours by car from central Europe – public transportation (bus and train) depart from several countries on a daily base. The airport is located 30 kilometres outside Rijeka on the island of Krk. The city centre is close to the harbour and offers fantastic shopping opportunities, plus a number of cultural monuments and many places of interest. There is plenty of evening entertainment along the harbour road, the “Riva”.Sojourn tax and harbour fees are not included in the prices and are payable in cash on board upon embarkation. These are € 49 per person and week, € 24 for children up to 12 years.
Tip recommendation: You will certainly be happy to reward the service crew’s performance with a tip. We recommend an amount from € 70 per cabin and week.
