MS Zelenbor / Route R1
Port of Rijeka - Kvarner Region
Description
Some of our customers will for sure remember the MS Zelenbor, which for many years – first from Rijeka, later from Trogir – crossed the Croatian Adriatic Sea as a member of the Riva fleet. After two years of “time out”, the MS Zelenbor returned to our fleet for the 2016 season. In autumn 2015, the young captain Toni from the island of Rab bought it. After only three years, Toni has decided to go other ways. Thus he sold the Zelenbor to Antonio Komuczki, who, like Toni, continues the long tradition of the captains of the island of Rab. Antonio graduated from the renowned nautical school in Bakar, then spent several years sailing the world’s oceans on cargo ships and tankers and worked as a sailor on excursion ships. He has been a sailor and helmsman on our MS Sagena for four years, and has thus also gained experience with vacation cruises. MS Sagena’s captain Joško regrets Antonio’s leaving, but his desire to own his own ship was simply stronger. Antonio long ago proved that his years on the Sagena were an excellent school, that he is just as good a host as Toni, and that he knows how to inspire his guests.

The airport is located 30 kilometres outside Rijeka on the island of Krk. The city centre is close to the harbour and offers fantastic shopping opportunities, plus a number of cultural monuments and many places of interest. There is plenty of evening entertainment along the harbour road, the “Riva”.Sojourn tax and harbour fees are not included in the prices and are payable in cash on board upon embarkation.
